Well imo he got completely out-ridden by Fourie in the first - head-wind, just stalked the stable mate and pulled out at the right time - going to be an interesting day's racing where the jocks will try to cover their mounts as long as possible - pace I think will be slow throughout the day

Van Niekerk can't shine Richard's shoes on a good day.

Going to be Snaith/Fourie traffic all weekend.

The winner looks to be a way above average horse, I think Shannon Devoy would have won on her

That's not fair. You weren't shouting off the roof tops when van Niekerk was winning on the "wrong one". They are both good jockeys.

You sitting in a situation where stakes have decreased and Richard is perceived to be on the 'right' one.

Owners, trainers and jockeys are also trying to recoup some of what they have lost due to the decreases.

How else is this done?

If you think this game is straight then thats the first mistake.

I'm am talking ability, they both good jockeys. I will not start a conspiracy about racing, i just punt, not "well connected" to anyone in the game.
