Race 1: form and money horse horse wins
race 2: Fav backed like its already in the winners box. Issue at gate. Unplaced
Race 3: Money for fav. All over the place in running. Gone
Race 4: Odds on shot drifts like a barge. Gets beat
Race 5: Even money fav drifts like a barge. Wins
Race 6: Legislate money pouring on. Lets see
Race 7: Who knows
Race 8: Marcus jumps off Maitland Magic. Did he want the ride? Lets see

The game is sick at the moment.
The pools are a reflection of that and will only continue to decline with current consumer (punter) dissatisfaction.

Miss the good times of Dave Mollet at Turffies, Shaheen Shaw on Tellytrack and Bumpy Schoeman screaming them home at Fairview.

Ah, nostalgia...

And the nostalgia of still having a few bob in your pocket :woohoo:

It's the quality on show that gets to me.
With all due respect to PeterD I just don't understand how he can say our locally bred don't lack quality.
Just watch a race meeting from KZN and it's obvious these are not well bred horses.
Who wants to go to the races only to see a poor horse trying it's best, but going nowhere fast, getting whipped left right and centre just for someone to have the thrill of leading in a winner.A horse that shouldn't be on the racecourse gets persevered with when it's blatantly not liking being at the races. It's a bit cruel if you ask me.

Going for Dry Var purely because there have been very persistent nibbles all day in the face of money coming for other horses and Nathan Kotzen's stable money is normally quite shrewd

Thankfully tomorrow is my last involvement in horse racing for a year.
New years resolution to take a break from this garbage.

Always get murdered on the last leg of my multiples.

Last week was Aldo on High Moon.
Today is Serino on Legislates Dance.

Tired of trying to guess a winner.
Form and money mean 0 these days.

:woohoo: B) :cheer:

How some of these horses are allowed to carry on racing is beyond me.
Surely the trainers must tell their patrons sorry but we not going to get a win from this horse so better to find it a home on a farm or try showjumping or something.

Watch the replay .... keep an eye on Grace Angel's 'educational' ride. I confess I took swingers with it at 66/1 and it looked as comfortable as any of the other three up with it. Jockey just sat on it to the line.

Watch for a plunge next time on poly!!

Durbs, I am making it your job to alert me when he reappears ..... thanks buds !!

Please watch again (the race is up)- wow that horse was beaten before the bend(it was just about leading) - Jock tried to bounce it into the race but nothing - began wobbling under pressure and he gives it severe smacks but nothing - I think if not retired after this run will be sent to Ziets - Those owners do not hide horses with ability so you can rest assured to run 50 lengths behind last 2 starts this horse either needs gelding or relocation or retirement as Blinkers did nothing. The stablemate who I liked was the first horse under pressure and he even passed this poor guy.
