maybe not ... AF and Botha were confined to a small group of Racing people and were said in the heat of the moment but Robinson has posted alleged Racist comments to the world at large as the Facebook page was shared amongst many people - The damaged caused to the reputation of Racing could well be worse if it is proved that he intended to insult a specific RACE as a whole and not just an individual and published that to an open forum like Facebook- I think he will be punished more than the other 2 -

Correct Mr H it needs to be investigated by the correct authorities in this case the Saps and SAHRC. As far as the NHRA and Gold circle is concerned they too should investigate and sanction this trainer in terms of their own policy as if you bring your company into disrepute which he will have done if found guilty.

You're more than likely correct Mac wrt Mob Justice - the Mob will be the end of racing of in KZN. Keep on justifying FR's actions

One thing I wonder if this post was seen by many people(there were people on this site highly offended) has there been any member of the public that saw the post and then laid a charge at SAPS or SAHRC? I wonder if he would have had any defence if he replaced the word "race" with "religion" in his post...

Whatever Frank's intentions were, he ought to have been more careful /considerate when he decided to vent his personal frustration on a public platform.
Having said that, he definitely does not deserve to have his livelihood destroyed because of something like this.
As someone that also celebrates Diwali, I take no offense to such comments, as they actually reflect far more poorly on the person making them than on an entire race!! ( which by the way is far more diverse than most realise)
Never did understand why people think it's a good idea to vent in a public forum, does it actually help in any way,? did Frank and Co think that Indians would read his post and go 'Hey stop it everybody, Frank is getting upset "

It is sad that Frank was prompted to respond to the Facebook post without
wording it carefully.
There was a mention of the human race or something to the effect.
It's tragic if he had to lose his livelihood over this matter.
I know of one of his patrons and they've never complained about anything racist they experienced with the stable.
There was a petition to ban fireworks on this forum about 7 years ago.
Maybe Bob can find the thread?
It probably comes around every year
at this time on SM.
