Don't think many people was traveling down that Boulevard - and it was going so well

R2: Very trappy opening leg to the BP; Quattro Passi in form and should place again; Midnight Caller should enjoy the extra; other fancied runners obviously can't be ignored; joker in the pack could be Hey Bennie, who has only his 2nd start after a long break
R3: Any of the 3 in the betting; slight preference for The Sandwich Man who holds Fort Love on their last run over this track and trip
R4: Forever Mine obvious chance, but at those odds I'm taking him on; should not be too much between him and Willow Express, and then we have What You Are - fluffed her lines last time, but on previous form looks classy enough (5 lengths behind Summer Pudding in the Fillies Classic) to hold her own at these weights
R5: Very competitive; even Kayla's Champ has some good runs to her credit; Golden Pheasant also returning to best KZN form ; stable mates Certifiable and Putins Promise obviously can't be ignored
R6: Malmoos did not beat much, but was very impressive in doing so; betting seems to suggest that the confidence is not as high as on his debut; still I think he is the one be with; any of the others can take advantage if he fluffs his lines
R7: I do fancy Spanish Boy - had excuses in his last start and comes in here cherry-ripe; Visiway only narrowly fell over the line and now is up in the weights and the apprentice also is losing 1.5 kgs of his claim; Winter Stories represents the younger generation and on the way put their elders in their place a while ago, he obviously can't be ignored
R8: More open than the betting suggests imo; Silver Master looks good value, but needs to overcome a tricky draw; The Sands not out of it on his best form - I'm loading up
R9: Another race that may spring a surprise; Greens has the speed and should overcome a wide draw, but I think at the weights Muleta is the right one, while Winters Power should also be right there.
Enjoy
Nice day - except for travelling down the wrong Boulevard
