8 Jean S Man 10.00 14.00 12.00 10.00 9.00 7.00 6.50 5.65 5.50 6.00 6.50 6.00 5.50

Well backed and rode them to sleep from the front.
Or maybe the other jocks all had a few bob on the winner.

This horse was completely mis-priced at opening. It showed early promise last year, then went off form. Last run it ran 25-30lb above its current rating, and was slung in at the weights here as no penalty could be given, and if repeating that effort was a penalty kick.. Billy Prestage is a long time owner-trainer who only has a couple of horses these days- however he is a top horseman. If it had been one of the big stables it would have opened 3/1 and started 15/10 just like Capitana in the previous race. The other jocks had no chance- the appie galloped them off their feet with the weight advantage.
You can follow this horse as the handicapper will only be able to catch up after 2 or 3 more wins.

Race 6: Hard to chose between Seventh Gear (106) and Hurricane Harry (107).

Race 7: Capitana (108) will be very hard to beat!

Race 8: Jean's Man (102) should finish on top of them but Regimental (98) and Fateful (97), despite their bad draws, are serious runners.

That's my R6 pick 3. Break a leg.

Nice return 🥳

considering that the jock could not regain his irons...and the very good race it ran...this was potentially the best advice for the day...unlucky...very unlucky...;)
