@Mark Sham
Read what I say, I'm on your side.
Did they err or was this a deliberate "mistake"?
You will know of the rumours flying around "one-ers".
Perhaps they pulled the trigger?

OTA.....I’ve only got a STD 8 so probably misunderstood but another mistake comes to mind
Will they ever admit a wrong doing in the case between Wainstein , Binda, Maroun, Hyde, Moodley in the Stipe’s board room at Turffontein
So far in this year the NHA “mess ups” have cost the game at least 3 well Known +Paying owners .
With more to follow

Chase is not an apprentice, he knew exactly what he was doing and he deserves every bit of that fine and more!
Well spotted by the stipes. The NHA is doing very well since Vee took over!
As for the owner, well, he probably needed an excuse to chuck it.

....then let them get more cake while more jobs are being lost.....Werners goes and Johan and Pat Lunn will have their yards decimated.....a very grim future with racing still tottering and grooms becoming more disgruntled being jobless what a shame again.....

Why would he need an excuse? To who does he owe an excuse? If he wanted to leave he could do so without inviting attention(He has never been an owner that courted the limelight hence his reluctance to do interviews) ...Losing any owner is bad for Racing and this owner has only been good for the game

And Johan van Vuuren also going to take a huge knock being one of his main trainers, it is going to have a spiral affect all the way down

I had the pleasure of leading in a winner this week, the first time in many years, that I was present at the "right time". My first time present at the races in almost a year, same faces, no new blood, its like a time capsule standing still. My question is for how long will this continue?
Strange thing happened to me on the way to the races the other day. Guy standing at the robot, signboard, read : NO JOB 4 KIDS 3 DOGS 4 CATS PLEASE HELP! He came up to my window and asked if I could help? I said to him sorry I am a racehorse owner. He stuck his hand in his pocket and handed over to me a lot of coins and said you need it more than me!
Can this industry afford to loose ONE owner ? Cause lets be honest the difference between being an owner and a donor is just in the spelling.
Racing in its current form can never last, we are staring down the barrel. I foresee that only the diehard breeders will be the "new owners" of the future. The trainers not affiliated to these farms.....BYE
What ever the merits of this case are or aren't surely the NHRA has done a "full investigation" before passing judgement? I think not. I think there is a lot more, from both sides, than we will ever know. Why would I say this ? If it was just about the ride we would have NO jocks riding in SA today.

Interesting to note that Emerald Floe in Race 3 at the Vaal is still a runner.
