Just a question to the lads at Sporting Web...If I get my Lilywhites X1 into the top 4 of the ABC league does it mean that my beloved Tottenham Hotspur will be eligible to play in the Champions League for 2009/2010? ))))

Great point at Chelsea - before that match I feared they might finish bottom 6 but perhaps that top 4 is a possibility now.

Visions of grandeur Brent. Chelsea, Man U, Liverpool, Man City, Arsenal, Villa, WHU, Midds will all finish above Spurs. Spurs play nice football but the defence is a bit dodgy especially if Woodgate, who is very prone to injury, does not play. Selling their two stikers not very good as I cannot see Bent scoring 10 goals. This new Russian player will take a season to bed in so you guys are going to struggle I fear.

Chili...seriously, WHU and Midds to finish above Spurs??? Megabucks City could well be a threat to the top 4 by next season and Villa is a more than decent outfit as is Pompey but we have serious talent at Spurs.
The defence in fact will prove to be our strong point this season IF Woody and King stay injury-free.There's the impressive Corluka, Hutton, Bale and Gilberto too.
What we do need is a strong man in the midfield that will allow Modric and Bentley to play.Top six definitely.... top four, let's just whisper about that for now....

Perpetual, I agree that you have serious talent at Spurs. But you guys have to bring it onto the pitch. Bentley is just a little poser, he reckons that he is the next Beckham. Bale is going to be one helluva player , and then he will be sold to Chelsea or Man City. Woodgate and King one of the best centre back partneships BUT King only plays in the big matches because of his injury problems. He gets rested for most of the so called B Grade prices. Modric is a going to be huge. All trhe best for the season (except when you play us that is)
