Not speaking from my pocket as I didn't punt today but from observation Lyle Hewitson is riding below average today. All his mounts languishing at the back of the field and no real effort on his part coming into the straight.

Correct. He knew that there was no pace in the race but still sat at the back of the field. A top rider would have taken the initiative if he wanted to win!!

Going for this double:
R6: WHITE LIGHTENING
R7: DARK MOON RISING
The last two races look like minefields

It's just mind boggling that us as the punters can see these things. Did the same with that other fancied runner earlier. Dropped out completely, wide into the straight and race run.

Re: Re:RE: Grenville Sunday
6 years 2 months agoIt would appear that the Nel/Wright clan had this one (race 5) worked out. They had the top 3 horses on the board and loosing with the odds on favourite, resulting in a million p6 tickets (R1m rand) down the drain! Professional cr%%ks if you ask me. Every single tipster picked the Hewitson horse to win...Sammy Silver wrote:thisotherdude wrote: Not speaking from my pocket as I didn't punt today but from observation Lyle Hewitson is riding below average today. Flichity By Far,Hewitson's mount and the odds on favorite, was not a Nel runner.
Alyson Wright was the trainer.
Nel only had two horses in that race.
