It is a pity that the art of poledancing seems to be only associated with smut. This should not be true and is unfair on the dancers.

I actually think it was nearly in the olympics

Yes and of course we must remember that there is no better way to honour the heroes of the industry. I'm sure everyone was enthralled and felt truly honoured to sit through it. It will leave a lasting memory and I'm sure the horsemen and women will look forward to next year with anticipation. Maybe a Magic Mike show would work.
