the last race at Ayr is called Southerness Holiday Park Apprentice Handicap. There is a links golf course in Southerness which is situated on the Solway Firth. This course is championship condition but they wont play there as it will make fools out of the best of the best. It can be calm as you prepare to tee off and in your swing a gale could pick up. When you drive past it you have to watch out for flying golf balls.
