Quite fitting I thought for the Alexanders to win the Tommy Hotspur - spare a thought for Greasepaint though - did not run straight the last 100 - maybe deserves retirement now; for me I doubled up in the BP - unfortunately went out the previous leg - where I had both the 1 and the 8 :(

I would not be surprised that should either HERO'S HONOUR or Manhattan Cocktail (aus) win the last with authority then a supplementary entrance would be paid for the Guineas come Monday
