Bass Pre-race comments Kenilworth 9 December....

Felicity Flyer
Event: Race 2, FM 89 Handicap (F & M)
Distance: 1400m
Pre-race comments: She carries top weight in a small competitive field of five runners. Tough race but in with a shout.

Go The Distance
Event: Race 3, Maiden Juvenile Plate (Fillies)
Distance: 900m
Pre-race comments: She should find this 900m too sharp, so not expecting too much.

Western Angel
Event: Race 3, Maiden Juvenile Plate (Fillies)
Distance: 900m
Pre-race comments: She has not had a lot of exposure so we not sure what to expect, but is a nice filly and could run a fair race.

Meraki
Event: Race 4, Maiden Plate
Distance: 1600m
Pre-race comments: He is doing well but draws badly again. He should enjoy the longer run in so hopefully still in with a good each way chance.

What A Summer
Event: Race 4, Maiden Plate
Distance: 1600m
Pre-race comments: He has been disappointing for us thus far as he has the ability. Hopeful of a better run over the extra distance.

Comfortably Numb
Event: Race 4, Maiden Plate
Distance: 1600m
Pre-race comments: The mile is still on the sharp side, but with this longer run in and some racing experience he should finish closer.

Benjan
Event: Race 6, Merit Rated 80 Handicap
Distance: 1800m
Pre-race comments: Down in trip after two good feature race runs. We have freshened him up nicely and he always runs a consistent race, so could be a factor again.

Ben-Hur
Event: Race 6, Merit Rated 80 Handicap
Distance: 1800m
Pre-race comments: He ran on really well last time, will enjoy this step up in trip on the new course, and with bottom weight, could be a big runner despite the draw.

Live Life
Event: Race 7, Southern Cross Stakes (Grade 2)
Distance: 1000m
Pre-race comments: She choked up in the running last time and with a few equipment changes she should be back to her best again.

Scandola
Event: Race 7, Southern Cross Stakes (Grade 2)
Distance: 1000m
Pre-race comments: We expected better from her last time out and she will have an even tougher task at the weights here, but doing well and we will take our chances.

Race 2. I am hearing Party Crasher to upset the favourite... so exactas and swingers could be the play

Quick Brown Fox taken out by Felicity Flyer when moving up dangerously. The wind wreaking havoc out there.
