Interesting. To me, the 2nd horse was just as guilty as the winner at lugging in, albeit the runner up when they were more closer together. Both equally responsible for the bump, it is just that the winner kept his balance better than the second. But that is just on my first viewing. On what I saw, the runner up wouldn't have beaten the winner. Let's see.
