A bank robber will elicit the same reactions and emotions. What was this killers motive?

I also heard this morning his brother saying he is not linked to any politics and he is totally dumbstruck by his actions.

There is no reason to do what he did.....if he wasn't a terrorist, then he would have just shot himself

By the way, a mass murderer or a terrorist are equally deplorable IMO. The only difference is that one does it for selfish reasons, while the other does it for a "cause".

You are the one simplifying things. We can't just go around calling everyone that carries out an atrocious act a terrorist.

.....some things just don't add up....one would think that with all the Yank agencies like ATF FBI NSA checking for abnormal behavior to root out possible activity related to terror strikes.....cant see when someone is building an arsenal of weapons.....40 guns....collector or gun nut...these things have to be vetted and checked.... :S

If the world now, after the TERRORIST attack in Las Vegas, doesn’t concede the unadulterated hypocrisy of the media and the disgusting hatred of people for Islam, then know that there’s very little hope in the decency of people. At least 50 dead and over 400 wounded, but not once was the word ‘terrorism’ mentioned. If this atrocity, by definition, isn’t terrorism, then RIP to the word terrorism. This scumbag who killed all these innocent people has been referred to as a ‘gunman’; his religion, the colour of his skin has not even been mentioned by mistake. People, would thrive over incidents like this, and jump up and down if it was perpetrated by a “Muslim”. However, in this case .........
