I can't understand why he has only been cautioned. The trainer beating this horse (Botes) himself said he shouldn't have won, i can only imagine the number of multiples that CM stuck punters out off because of his "antics". Anyways, good on MDK on taking a stand on it. Think he hit it on the head, CM is only 20.. Some things only experience can teach you. I think riding big priced, well bred horses for a big stable can go to your head. Noing better to learn that you are riding a horse. Not waiting to put your foot down in a F1 car.

All these soft or not riding to the finish is costing us the punter...

Hence me taking a sabbatical from punting. Week in and week out I see these "soft rides" and basically seeing my money being thrown down the drain.

I like him. But, I'd like to see how he bounces back from this. The honeymoon is over for him...from now on he will be in the spotlight big time.
