Okay so my thoughts, I've been following the market since Tuesday. So let's see if we can find one or two.

R1 Money for the first timer, so that has to be respected. In terms of the rail configurations despite there not being too much of a bias on the inside track the last couple week, I think inside drains will be beneficial today. For that reason Kitty coo at around 5's may be of some value, Ninjarra also makes appeal. Due to the unknowns il go each way on Kitty Coo. More specifically places.

R2 I'm gonna take a risk and brass anything with Varsity princess in the formline as those runners have turned formline around a couple times of late. I'm going to go out on a limb and say the winner will come from either Embrasiatic (my choice) madam secretary and Cataluga. Again safe play is places on E.

R3 Heaps of money for Artax and I think rightly so. Think the Vaal will suit him well or at least better then the inside track. Value is now gone though, I included in a couple doubles when at 18/10. Wouldn't touch now, although a win is a win regardless of the price. Brassing swing vote in this race, can place, but Artax deserved favorite.

R4 Money again for the Azzie stable. Houston rocket the Money horse. I think Gentleman only though is the right one and a win is deserved for his consistency

R5 Azzie again the favorite with inn a million. So as you can see he could have a very good day. I however am in the corner of Champions Cup, as well as racing socks.

R6 Another stable I think could have a good day is that of Craig Mayhew. Doesn't have the biggest of strings, but does well with what he's got and I'm in the camp of blue sage and there has been a bit of a nibble in the market. Money horse however is seeking gold and on breeding should love the step up in trip. Numbers 2,3&7 for the quartets.

R7 We come to another race where my fancies lie again with the Mayhew runners. Munger normally rides for them, so I imagine he had the choice on Seal my fate. I however prefer polar secret and both represent great place value. Turn back time should also be in the vicinity.

R8 Jackman is the interest but wouldn't necessarily touch this race as it is ultra competitive and a case can be made for many, Huhi, Arlington etc. My lunatic for places would be rivers edge.

R9 close vaal racing for a month with one of my stronger fancies of the day and I feel there is good value at 6's about Cambridge Choir. Draw normally pretty NB over the trip and has a plum draw where other fancied runners have tricky draws. My roughie for the places Countess Jemmina.

Kitty Coo place
Embrasiatic Place
Cambridge choir place.

Today my focus is on the P6.It will be a small outlay and will sacrifice a few in the hope of getting a good percentage. The pool should be jolly good and a payout of over 100k is more then likely.I intend putting up my selections race by race but will be editing. Will also be hoping for some good posts so please lets have your thoughts. My confidence appears good but have an inkling that it will be won or lost in the first leg

leg 1
Houston Rockets the rage here and has the form to beat most but cannot rate as a stand alone selection. There are three that are relatively unexposed viz Grasshopper,Im A Raptor and Enchanted Rock and the funny thing is they all come from stables that regularly spring surprises.Theres been outside support for Grasshopper.Wiid has not won a race this season and the horse's rating has come down significantly considering the second highest rated horse in the race was beaten ten lengths by him in the maidens.

Inclined to omit I'm A Raptor
because of the above race and on the drift but he was running on nicely in his last two over shorter.Unsure so will decide later

Not one to leave out
The top weight is one i would not omit because his maiden win to Hieronymus makes him the horse to beat and has the profile for this category

There are others with a winning chance but a budget needs to be maintained.Top of this list would be Calico Quiver followed by Aza Arrow and the present favourite
Will come back here with a final assesment

leg 2
Another difficult race and im inclined to side with Colin on Champions Cup and backing it up with Skynight,Commodore Al and Racing Socks.Im prepared to include the Azzie runner seeing that Gavin has taken the ride

leg 3
The corners are getting sharper and no respite in sight!.Reserving this to the last

leg 4
Competitive again.Leopard Lily and Jo Malone would be popular choices but im seeing it slightly different. So far my selections are Polar Secret,Seal My Fate,Leopard Lily,Turn Back Time and to a lesser extent Trip Queens. Will see how my structuring pans out but at this stage my confidence isnt where it was

leg 5
Arlington and Tom Fool

bet 1
[3]/[2, 4, 6, 10, 12]/[6]/[5, 9, 11, 13]/[4, 10]/[11, 15]
Type: Banker
Combinations: 80

bet 2
1, 2, 7, 9, 10]/[2, 4, 6, 10, 12]/[6]/[5, 9, 11, 13]/[4, 10]/[11, 15]
Type: Banker
Combinations: 400

total investment R48

I agree with most - definitely no R400 P6 div today

In the 2nd I think Osculation is on a roll and could make it 3 in a row.

In the 3rd Artax probably past the post - only danger Swing Vote

Also the 4th look straight forward between Houston Rocket and Gentleman Only

In the 5th Inn a Million the obvious one, but could expect competition from a few; Skynight is the main danger, while Racing Socks is also in with a chance if running to his best form

The 6th looks a match between Blue Sage and Seeking Gold, followed by Cranberry Crush and Prada Princess - A P Lily and Watch My Dust (Khumalo ?) others to consider

The 7th is wide open, in the 8th I'd consider Post Grad, Barbados Cruise and Jackman - perhaps Arlington at a push, and the 9th ... where did I put my pin ?

Enjoy B)
