It happens.Look at Gavin Lerena's lean spell.I think It's just that the horses out of season in KZN are on a par with Kimberley and take away two or three trainers and honestly they are nowhere near the top in South Africa.Charles Laird used to be a top trainer and now he is battling.Probably the calibre of horses he has got now but he it should all equal out as the rest of the horses are just as bad and he is not even getting placed with favorites.
