I have seen seasoned presenters extolling the merits of a scratched horse(8am) at 3pm in the afternoon... I have seen them grab a computaform half an hour before racing starts and make selections - I have seen them praise riding arrangments for jocks that have been stood down the day before ... This guy has not got a 10th of their experience or connections so give him a chance - He has made mistakes but will learn from them and build relationships with trainers and jocks in time as those before him did

I agree with you,at least he studies the form to give an honest opinion on a horse chance. Not like some other presenters who as you say "grab a computaform half an hour before racing starts and make selections -"
I can assure you to that that he must spend sometime studying.
Remind me of our friend Chainshaw that unfortunately left us, also spend hours studying the form and by the end of the day couldn't read the form anymore as he kept on scribbling over them

Can't help but think some want to attack...he is not bad finds the value and looks to have a future...come encourage not discourage.... Some may not have the temperament to go on camera...everyone makes mistakes...just let it be

Surely this was a Phumelela / Tellytrack appointment. Just because the guy may be of Indian descent does not mean that he comes from Durban lmfao
Bull shit
I have read and reread this a few times to try decipher what in fact is being said here. My take on this is as follows:
1. Alston Naidoo is employed by Tellytrack
2. Craig says Gold Circle should be ashamed
3. Jurgs assumes that Tellytrack appointed him and being Joburg based, the blame is more likely Phumelelas. The Indian comment I hope is referring to the fact that Gold Circle is based in KZN, the province where the majority of SA residents of Indian descent reside.
4. Bob takes offence at the apparent derogatory remark

For me a TellyTrack presenter's job description is NOT to give tips but to flow the continuity of the programme. If they can concentrate on that I think we would see better quality.

1) Alston thinks 2nd should object against 3rd
2) Alston questions why MIKE DE KOCK enters a horse in a certain race
Let me rather leave it at that
EVERYBODY should ALWAYS ask why a horse is entered in a race!!!!Irrespective of who the trainers are/is!!!
