they water the course overnight usually so sometimes ends up turning the less favourable side into the more favourable.

This can open the door for results to be manipulated

You can't be serious Lionel. Ascot is one meeting that every horse, jockey and trainer are triers. Everybody wants to win and if not at least run a place or a good race. Today will be no different

But the people responsible for watering the course can alter the course going. A punter might disregard a horse due to a 'bad' draw...only to find that the draw on the day is actually 'good'. What I'm saying has got nothing to do with the efforts of the horse involved. What if a bookie wants a certain draw to be more favorable....

right I didn't have a bet on day 3 as it looked tough and it proved to be with Order of St George, Mori and Orderofthegarter all getting beaten
Day 4
Race 1 - Alpha Centauri 22/10, saver on Fairyland around 6/1 - Top class filly, should go very close. danger is Fairyland so I've thrown a small saver on her
Race 2 - Crystal Ocean 28/10 - 3rd in the Dante on just his 3rd start. We saw 2nd in that race Benbatl come out and win yesterday. Bags of improvement to come.
Race 3 - Caravaggio 1/1 - Harry Angel and Blue Point are the dangers to him but this horse is a monster. Unbeaten - hasn't come close to being beaten. Tore up Royal Ascot when winning the Coventry last season. AOB described him as the fastest horse he's ever had, Moore is extremely confident on his blog. I can't wait to see him run - my best bet of the Festival. Here's hoping the monster arrives.
Race 4 - Winter(No bet) - Winter's too short at 5/10 to have a bet but throw her in a double with Caravaggio and you got yourself a good double. The dual guineas winner has only improved this season and should win this.

It's got nothing to do with the watering of the course

I have taken a R5 line (yankee or whatever you call 6 legs) on all his mounts today.
