every year i must choose between the cape yards,s tarry and m de kock yards to find the winner.this year is no different and if i follow history, i can exclude all kzn trained horses because of there poor record in there premiere race.if my memory serves me well the last kzn trained winner was a r maingard horse who won on objection wen surfing home was demoted after he won the race.

trouble this year is the race has been turned into a lottery by gold circle because of the track and because we still don't know which horses will make the final field.so it's best to wait for final field before deciding,but at this early stage i am leaning towards it's my turn depending on weight,jockey and draw,
