Tarry has 26 runners on Saturday.

Which are his best winning chances?

most will have a chance for winning, that's the type of trainer he is.

doubt even he can tell you which one will win.

just watch the canter down and see which of his horses looks the best.

looks, stride, temperament etc.

In trying to understand this, one can use the analogy of a soccer team. The coach puts in what he thinks is his best 11....during the game, he sees that some are not playing as they can/should/normally do...then he makes subs.

The difference is that in racing, subs are not allowed

Ok, tryna understand your analogy but..all I'm saying is. Any1 of his horses can win on the day. All will look brilliant, some more than others

Lol...was referring to you comment that "doubt even he can tell you which one will win." I always wondered how it is possible for a trainer not to know....
