I see there are thunderstorms predicted from mid afternoon. I hope we can get through the racing today.

Again racing starting way too late. Thunderstorm inevitable

R5 Whosethebossnow ... I am going to stick my neck out and oppose this one today

I think that it's the class horse of the race and that on handicapping, it's well treated. I also think that the distance is perfect

What I don't like is that this is clearly a horse with temperament issues. His head may prove his biggest adversary. Also, I have studied the race and there is no pace. Racing socks may set the pace, but if not, there is no one. Whosethebossnow seems to drop out to last in his races and try and run them down with a great finishing burst. Drawn 3 today he may encounter some scrimmaging and drop to the back in what will be a slowly run race. His finishing kick, coming from behind horses and possibly facing some traffic, will not be as effective

I am prepared to be laughed at if he wins in a canter with the jock holding two handfuls. But I will Ben opposing for reasons above

Agreed

These guys never learn

That said, I have a feeling that we might be lucky and complete the meeting. Just a feeling
