Brilliant bokkie, well done!!!!

You smashed it.

I can only imagine how the punters cheered you when you cashed your ticket!!!!!

You proved just what I said again today but got laughed at..... Study form and follow racing in Flamingo closely and you can make money!!!! Well done !!!!!

The track ran very nice and big ups to Bettingworld with the new oncourse outlet. Gave out betting vouchers, food and I think Nico and his team done well today.

Well done on the rich approval guys , well tipped.

you 100 percent right he did deserve to win a million rand with those results..lets remember that only one person won the pick from a few thousand who took it so is that good for racing

Ziets no disrespect meant at all but he was the only winner of the pick 6.If the form showed up surely there would have been more winners?1 ticket out of 240 000 doesn't sound like form results to me.How far do you have to go back with a horses form to give it a chance? If you go back ten runs you can give every single horse a chance.Consistency is what the punters would like to see.

On Red Star last run 2 weeks ago you coulndnt leave her out. Even had her in my pa and pick 6 . Went out pa with pigeon flyer( ran 4th) and pick 6 out with caribbean(ran 2nd) ... will win big money with small money again soon...

I seen just in the last week( 9 local meetings in gauteng , EC, WC and Natal , ) that 5 pick 6's paid more than yesterday at flamingo and 2 of that 5 was carryovers, so why not paying less if its so easy according to some in these centres to make money
7 out of 9 PA's also paid more....

Flamingo we all know had the track problem(hope its now sorted with the filled in sand) and the plenty rain and inability to train properly for almost more thab a month and its easy to see that the inconsistencies of how the track runs eachtime that it was a major obsticle. Check the racetimes and its obvious. Some horses like it quick , some like it softer/heavier and the list goes on.
What they will be trying from now on with the "new" track is to prep the track everytime(if possible) for each meeting the same way each time to try their best to give some consistency. Big ups to japie visser for doing his best to help all of us.
Ps: remember that the difference in sand and grass is very different , when penetrometer on gras say its 23 for the day it mostly stay 23 all day and horses tend to run most races the same way if the pace is consistent and the wind direction stay the same.
On sand its a total different ballgame because the wet sand drying up during the day and hope you take note of this tip: the early races is much quicker and horses struggle to ran on but the later it gets ,the better chances you have with runners from off the pace...BIG NOTE TO TAKE WHEN STUDYING FORM AGAIN AT FLAMINGO

Now to get back to red star and why i included her:
First run in kimb -not striding out =ignore the race
2nd run in kimb- stumbled, resp noise - also ignore
3rd run 2 weeks ago- showed up handy in a very fast pace set by switched on , all the frontrunners/handy horses faded . Basicly way too fast pace .
The one that kept on best of the handy ones been red star when all others faded. How much impovement is their to come ? I reckoned Plenty if next race'pace isnt too fast and she can be ridden with a little bit constrain !!
Now on collateral form she only ran 2L behind lady dutchess and 1L behind megan jones. Both LD and MJ came from behind that day so in a normal run race she must have a very big chance of beating both. She had heart flower also beaten 1L that day. Now heart flower, with no disrespect intented, loves matthew thackeray ( HF ran 8 times first or 2nd in kimberley and matthew rode her 7 of the 8 times) and hates Gunter . Previously gunter could only manage a dirty 5th place on her in 5 attemps . So i didnt include HF in anything and HF and gunter's relationship stays the same yet again.
Result, she make that improvement and beat LD comfortably and because the pace wasnt as hot and they didnt stop that much megan jones struggled to run on like last time.
Very good ride by Penny

Hope all my waffle makes a little sense Durbs
