Wikipedia is never wrong
Attention seeking (also called drawing attention or garnering attention) is behaving in a way which is in pursuit of attention from others. The attention they receive gives them a good feeling and boosts their self-esteem and self-worth. Enjoying the attention of others is socially acceptable in some situations. In some instances, however, the need for attention can lead to new difficulties and may highlight underlying, preexisting ones.
Sometimes adults seek attention because of jealousy. When someone finds himself threatened by another person who takes all the attention, he may respond with attention-seeking behavior.
Lack of self-esteem can be another cause for attention-seeking behavior. Some people think that they are overlooked and so they think that the only solution to restore their balance is to bring back the lost attention. The attention they will get in this case will provide them with reassurance and will help them think that they are worthy.
Narcissists are also attention seekers. They consider this attention a good source of narcissistic supply

The funny thing is he says he doesnot post on any forums, newspapers etc, if i may ask what does he call that letter that he posted on sporting post. Why did he not contact Warren l and discuss it with him instead of making a big thing about it.He is just going buy his name and first letter of surname- no harm.
On the subject of presenters or anyone working in the industry is there a rule that they are not allowed to post on any forum or write anything? I recall a few people that used to even post on abc but then got high positions in the gravy pot and stopped straight away.

Type the two Warren's names into Formgrids owner search
You might get a shock, one of the Warrens has owned dozens of horses including graded winners

Jeepers what a pathetic thread..leave Warren Laird and all the ABC posters alone..he can post under whatever name he likes just like the rest of us..some of us pay into the game and others get paid by the game..he is one of the former just like many of us..lucky to have us paying in every month so others can make money tipping our horses or betting on them..unbelievable!
