If you take one horse out of today's racing with you in your little black book it is Cidada.....
She did not like the inside track as she was scrubbed along all the way around the track.
Couple that with an unbelievably careless ride by Lerena. He may not have had much control of her or meant for her to shift in 6 or 7 horse widths but he made Cidada stumble so badly that her rider did very well just to stay aboard.
He kept his cool, looked to see if the filly was ok and then persevered with her. She ran on strongly to the line.
I think she is a very good staying filly in the making and I don't think, on the standside track next time, Patchitup baby beats her........
