They short priced favorites only because Marcus is riding them for Laird.And remember the Charles Laird stable is nowhere near what it was a few years ago,he just hasn't got the horses.

Pretty much Fafi,but he will get his winners because he is a very good trainer.This horse came back from a 130 odd day break and he brought it back fit enough to win(albeit with a little help from Marcus)so if he gets decent horses he might get back to the days when he was a master trainer.

If you ignore Breakfast Club's last run when everything went wrong he must have a chance on his previous poly form. Ran a short head behind Lonely Are The Brave and meet today on the same weights but a swing around in the draws. The 14/1 on offer on him looks like decent EW value.
