The following would be nice and particularly with regard to 'major' meetings :
The races actually jump on time; so start loading a minute BEFORE the 'off' and not 2-3 minutes AFTER the advertised start
There are no 'tack failures' at the start
There is no need for re-shoeing at the start
No horses bolt
The broadcast focuses on the racing rather than seeking out irrelevant 'celebrities' to interview; whose response is normally what looks suspiciously like : What's running?
The stalls manage to function for an entire afternoon/evening
The tote does not fall over under the increased volume
Get those right and the meeting might be pleasureable to watch and participate in.

and yesterday they were a good price with hollywood 28/10 away to villa
but i took a double with a horse at the vaal which i think is still running looking for the winning post,
so that bet was dead
then last night i took a few doubles with leeds into a few horses in greyville, so those bets also inn the bin.
i really thought that way we playing the last few matches we could have beaten villa away

Yip...thanks for the heads up..
Pity Liverpool drew yesterday. It would have saved me from a bet today.
But I am going max bet on leeds to win at evens

Re: What have you asked Santa for Christmas?
8 years 5 months agoi asked for a 40/1 multiple and on Xmas eve between CPT and Jhb. I managed to pick up a 240/1 multiple. (Shall be free, King of the corn and three others in JHB. I know Gavin rode one. 7/1 - think it was Mr Ferraris horse. Name escapes me rite now.Dean321 wrote: Someone to throw me a 40/1 multiple.
Was not a confident selection but 100 bucks did make Xmas more exciting.
