LEGAL EAGLE IS A GREAT HORSE.
Please continue to lump on M so LE drifts.
Come race time! LEGAL EAGLE WILL PUT THIS FIELD TO SLEEP
Absolutely!! Legal Eagle is a fabulous price, 4/10 would still be great value. Only a tradegy will stop Legal Eagle, some other fancies I rate have chances Malificent and Real Princess.

I'll make a prediction, LE will be 4/10 come race time, for backers of Marinaresco, you'll get some 7/2, perhaps 4/1, so hold your bets cause truck loads are arriving for LE in just a few hours. If Marinaresco finds the top three I'll be surprised, my order of finish LE by four lengths x New Predator x CA x Marinaresco.

MARGOT STEYN: Race 1 – CADILLAC JACK (1): No comment. Race 1 – ODAIBA (6): No comment.
NATHAN KOTZEN FOR MIKE DE KOCK: Race 1 – CAPTAIN MY CAPTAIN (2): Shows good work – expecting a first three finish.
JONO SNAITH FOR JUSTIN SNAITH: Race 1 – HENRY TUDOR (3): Will need his first run and this is more of a gallop for him. Race 1 – ASTRALITA (9): She has shown tremendous ability back home and will be one of the horses to beat despite taking on the colts.
PIET STEYN: Race 1 – METORITE (4): Having first run and hoping for a fair run.
PAUL REEVES: Race 1 – MOON ROCK (5): Shows a bit of speed at home but with babies they normally need experience.
VAUGHAN MARSHALL: Race 1 – WHY WOULDN’T YEW (
: A nice horse but not sharp enough for 800m.
GLEN KOTZEN: Race 1 – GOLD IMAGE (10): IF YOU BLINK YOU WILL MISS HER!! On a serious note, she is quick, sensible and a natural and I am expecting a big run.

Race 6: I still remember when Piere Strydom went down to Cape Town and rode It's My Turn in the derby. Black Arthur was always rated a top horse by the Snaith yard as mentioned by Delpech himself in the build up to the Vodacom Durban July 2016. Legal Eagle seems to enjoy the 2000m imo.
Race 7: Querari Falcon best bet
Race 8: Hardest race on the card, but Sillicone Valley seems to be above average and on paper looks the one to beat. Although I wouldnt leave the likes of Real Princess, Tevez and Captain Alfredo
Black Arthur x Querari Falcon x Sillicone Valley

Legal eagle is a camp probably looking towards qp and met but has class to win. Marinesco improving still but will be beter over further. New predator a killer up to a mile but not sure how much charity mile took out of him. Captain America has always been there abouts and won this last year. Black Arthur if fit and ready big danger but comeback run not the best , probably be a different horse on QP day. The rest a mile to sort execpt Sail South which faces strong challenge.
LEGAL EAGLE , CAPTIAN AMERCIA & MARINESSCO
Fillies guineas is a tough one , i like a bit of Dawn Calling.
Sprint - for me between Vic Jay , Hack Green and Search Party

Race 2: Dance at Dawn finished 2L in front of Pink Rock last time, but with natural improvement after debut I expect Pink Rock to turn the tables on her. Katie Dubois ran a decent race from a bad draw at Durbanville last time and is the one to beat.
Race3: Sun at Midnight bumped a top sort last time, and again has an up and coming 3yo to contend with. Ngaga is likely to make a lot of improvement and will be hard to beat but we should run a good race.
Race 4:Lloyd's Legacy won well last time and has plenty scope for improvement, but the price is too skinny. Moonrise Sensation must be respected back down in trip. Imperial Guard looks best of the older horses but an upset quite possible.
Race 5: Silvan Star is a big runner and we expect her to improve this course. Taffety Tart is very well in at the weights and is the one to beat.
Race 6: Legal Eagle is the best horse in the country, but the question is whether he is 100% ready yet with the big gr1s to come. Captain America and Marinaresco must be respected.
Sail South continues to surprise, and is an upset possibility.
Race 7: Querari Falcon and She's a Giver have the strongest form, but have had to travel and the latter has a tough draw. Maleficent is a serious runner at best. Sail has a tough draw to overcome, and there is little between her, Final Judgement and Dawn Calling at best. Safe Harbour won a good race last time and would not be a surprise winner. The price on Quick Brown Fox who is unproven over the trip offers no value, although she and Just Sensual have scope for improvement. A very tricky race. Final Judgement is great value ew at 14/1.
Race 8: Search Party is well in at the weights if repeating his last effort but steps up in class. Ernie and Seventh Plain are peaking at the right time. Victorious Jay ran well last time and should be respected.
Race 9: Banner Hill is a progressive stayer, and a worthy favourite. Paddington is improving with every start, and is my pick to upset.

The way Legal Eagle finished over 1160 behind Trip To Heaven was very impressive. Any improvement from that run will see him come home lonely. He is the best horse in the country IMO and won the Queens Plate last year when not fully tuned up. If Legal Eagle received 1,5kgs from Judicial he would beat him by more than a couple of Lengths. Anything over odds on is a great price with Superman aboard.

Great racing card , hope it lives up to it.
Betting on a race by race basis just before the off as most features could argue for a few.
Always a bit nervous when I see "coughing" as a reason for scratchings at this time of year.
