I like Light Chaser from that great no.1 draw and there is money around.
The only danger I make Katniss from an equally good draw. My concern with this one is the Kannemeyer stable is far from firing.....

Trying to close a double with Keep The Faith, will take a small cover on Light Chaser.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Light Chaser draws well today and could be more comfortable this course

Agreed, one of my favourite jocks.. lto Fourie probably learnt alot and changed tactics. Worked well. Now for him to close a nice little double for me and his own quick treble.

Nice call Karma, Fourie is very talented. As a matter of interest, do you think he should have stayed as the Snaith stable jockey?

I do think he should of stayed. Imvho, I think Snaith needs him as much as he needs Snaith. Sounds silly but why I say that is, yes snaith can have Marcus, Delpech, Strydom, Khumalo etc riding his top horses in big days, but the big days are made on the training track, just as much as having the best horse, and having a great jock working your horses every morning is a must. The other above mentioned, I doubt do much if any work for Snaith, only arrive and ride, so have very little, or no relationship other than words with the horse... just my opinion ofcourse.
