Let's try something different today - short summary of my views for those with some chances ....except for race 1 where I have no clue ....

Race 2
1 - Mogok Master - obvious ability and rates the one to beat taking into account the trainer's view that he won't be needing the run
2 - Enbharr - Better further and may need a run or two
3 - Dreamuponadream - has the ability and can't be ignored
4 - Le Clos - in good form might be slightly outclassed
5 - Nephrite 0 has been disappointing - not much between him and Le CLos on recent form
6 - Africa Rising - probably a prep run - looks a fair sort

1/3/6 from 4/5

Race 3
2 - Payne's Grey - holds Bubbly Reply, but form does not look that great
4 - Patric - seems moderate and may need the run - could sneak into the quartet
5 - Reminiscense - very hard to predict - chance at best
8 - Brookie - seems very one paced, may improve with blinkers
9 - Flying Fool - in good form and should go close here
10 - Charming Charlie - needs improvement on KZN debut - not to be ignored
12 - Tapenzee - may be looking for this trip and could go close

9/12 from 2/10

Race 4
1 - Miraflores - Poor run in the week, but blinkers are removed and gets a tongue tie - Striker keeps the ride - upset material
2 - Princess Violet - Improving....place chance
3 - Cool Escape - poor run last week - upset material on penultimate run
4 - Light House Girl - needs more improvement - placed in weak field last time
8 - Hallucination - who knows?
9 - Komeshan's Flight - strong finisher in last start - rates the one to beat on that - but wide draw ia a negative
10 - Tambalang - stable does not seem that confident - races in steels - but has the draw and could steal a march under Lerena

Either bank the 9 in the P6 or include at least 1,2,3 and 10

Race 5
1 - Blazing Winter - should be better over the shorter trip but does seem held by Shotgun Rider
2 - Norgay - MR has dropped 20 points - upset material
3 - Dromedaris - fair maiden win - may be a bit high in the ratings ?
4 - Dealer's Charm - this track not really his game - wide draw and seems held by Just a Gigolo - Delpech a positive but I prefer others
5 - Triple Beat - in good form - winner this trip - looks good value at the odds
6 - Sharp Seattle - beat moderate maiden field and has more to do
7 - Shotgun Rider - has suddenly found pace in his maiden win and can go close from a good draw
9 - Just a Gigolo - in form and should be thereabouts again
12 - Capuche - won penultimate over this trip and not the worst run last time from a wide draw - could make the quartet pay

Very open - my shortlist for the P6 ...5,7,9,3,4

Race 6
1 - Premier Chance - tries the trip - I prefer others
2 - New Fort - still in form - be thereabouts again
3 - Pyramus - good form at this track - be thereabouts again
4 - Royal Honour - obvious chance on form - Striker rides
6 - Taegan's Jet - big turnover at the weights - big chance

For the brave, one can do worse than take a chance on Taegan's Jet, otherwise include New Fort, Pyramus and Royal Honour

Race 7
1 - Featherfoot - has her problems - chance at best
2 - Fort Ember looks the class and could prove hard to beat if not flat in 2nd run after a long break
3 - Sisters of Mercy - consistent form and should be thereabouts again
4 - Tiger Flame - looks better over more ground and may need the run
5 - Cape Marigold - not the greatest last run - can feature on previous form
6 - She's a Looker - very game mare - needs a good pace for a late burst - won't be a big surprise if she pops up
7 - Just a Reminder - yet to prove her worth over this distance
8 - Cambridge Choir - much better than last run - chance at the weights

Either take a chance on Fort Ember - or include most of the rest

Race 8
1 - Gains Tax - inconsistent - looks a bit high in the ratings
2 - China Beach - in form - probably better over 1400
3 - Matsuri - just won latest - must have a chance again
4 - Red Pomegranate - looks classy - bigger fish to fry ?
5 - Bezgal - won maiden over this distance - upset material ?
7 - Secret Angel - held by Matsuri on last run, but looks better at this track - upset chance

Stuck record - either bank Red Pomegranate, or include at least the ones mentioned

Race 9
1 - Laurel Cherry - form choice - just seem a bit high in the ratings
2 - Tobesuretobesure - seems held by a few here - Striker rides from a good draw though
3 - Tales of Mambo - poor last two, but has good form at this track and could spring a surprise to round off a good day for the Zackey / Nassif combination
7 - Russian Star - rested - but one for the quartets
8 - Miss Rambo - overdue - big MR drop - inside track perhaps only negative - should be right there
10 - Cranberry Crush - in form, chance again
12 - Consequentially - beat a very weak maiden field - more to do
13 - Peg o' my Heart - needs more improvement but can make up the quartet

3/8/1 from 10,2,7,13

Enjoy B)

Small word for Tambalang, so I went and watched it's last run, horse was raced wide with no cover, spent force closing stages

Could be a runner
