Banner Hill starting to slide in the betting race 2 , Captain Splendid could have the race run to suit imo

If he had won the race it would have been a top ride but unfortunately he didn't even make the first three which is very disappointing for most.

Not the strongest jock in a finish so tried to steal it :)

Ps the winner had run in a stronger grade

Looked more like the horse needed the run (back in the province), briefly flirted with victory then seemed to become one paced. Always intended opposing him for that very reason.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Bayern I think the horse became one paced at the finish because he made a mid-race move from the back of the field to sit outside the leader and used the horse up.And as Bob said he looked weak at the finish,he lost third by a shot head.Could be the jock who was tired at the finish

On The Clock purely based on the draw, others fancied runners drawn fairly wide, let's see.

small go on Lady of the House in the next. money came for it last time even with the well-fancied Scandola in there. obviously will prefer this distance, wide draw only concern.

On the clock, improved 2nd time out in going that possibly didnt suit. Drawn well, bring it home Grant.
