On Nemoralia today, 18/10. Heavy drop in class from running 2nd behind Qemah and 4th LTO behind a favourite of mine in Zelzal in the Jean Prat. Hacked up by 6 lengths here at York a few runs back. 7 furlong should pose little problem and she should go close.

The race that Fair Eva won at Ascot was very weak - the third and fourth in it both finished tailed off behind Mrs Danvers at Newbury last week. I think Fair Eva ran to a very similar level of form to her Ascot run, it was just that yesterday's opposition was much stronger - and Dean is right about her price yesterday (4/11) being ridiculous.

Frankel sired the winner of yesterday's race, so he still came out of it on top.

Personally wouldn't give on up Fair Eva just yet. Like to see her over more ground.
