Just Lucky - Turf didn't suit. Be right there with draw & poly

The usual PE kind of card.
R2 Marginal preference for Naval Intelligence but can make a case for plenty of them.
R3 Forest Lawn x Storyfields
R4 Roman Calamity x Parade Council
R5 Ultimate Survival e/w (back to 1600 from a good draw ='s decent chance imo)
R6 Really think Scent should p1ss this but still have nagging doubts. Plenty waiting to take advantage if not, my e/w would be the Sham's Stir It Up, liked him lto at big odds and went close despite reportedly not striding. Assuming all clicks today could be the right e/w oppo to Scent.
R7 Agree with Bob n PC that Just Lucky has a very good chance. As usual, a case can be made for many but JL for me... back on the poly, good box and the extra 100 might suit nicely. The other one I quite like at a price is Tales Of Silver. Bremner has 4 in the race, the jockey bookings leave me head-scratching and as per usual there is complete silence as to well-being and reasoning behind the jockey bookings etc. So, who knows, could be reading it all wrong but anyway... I think her poly debut run behind Folk Law was decent and collateral lines certainly give her a chance on 3rd run after a rest.
R8 Another open looking contest. I like Angelus Bell e/w. Back on the poly where he has put in 2 decent efforts despite firstly a wide draw and then, perhaps, not the clearest of runs, I think he can be right there from the 4 box. If I Will Be has his mind fully on the racing then also likely to go close imo. Both might prefer further but I still think they have decent shouts here.
Be(s)t of luck to all

Race 4: Roman Calamity should be a penalty kick if runs close to it's rating! (I have it at 78,but even so)-not convinced about the mile but should get away with it as it should outclass field!
Race 8:In Rem ran well above today's rating of 47 (59) LTO on the Poly - will win if repeating!
(to all who believe that arithmetic has no place in racing ,please ignore this post....lol  )

What a great ride by the jock  I guess I cant say I never expected anything else... my own stupidity for still backing it.

Royal Calamity on ratings is miles clear.
The problem is it's been beaten over this CD by Parade Council in a novice 3 runs back, and on top of that is 0,5kgs worse off.
I don't play PE,and maybe RC will bolt in,but do any of you really need 30c on the rand on your money in any horse race.

good call Bob!
insofar as Rem ..........typical 2nd run after lay-off ....thought it should have enough in hand but ran a shocker ...big improvement next time!
