Why is the gold Cup being show cased as the main event when there is a Grade1 on the same card?

We as the punter do not care about the status of the race , it is about finding the winner or the top 4 finish horses and winning money, which race do you think will have more interest, every only talks about the July handicap or the gold cup even if other races exist.............?
