Is a jock accepting presents from graft not the same as me phoning a friend saying "I'm skint , can you stick a bet on a horse I like ?

is it right that any of us posters can post that he/she heard a whisper for a horse which then loses. What he should have said is that he heard voices in his head telling him about a certain horse.

Oldest scam in the book. Contact a bunch of people; divide them into a few groups; tip each group different horses in the same race; the group that gets given the winner are hooked.

Happened to me a few months ago. Was a friend of the jock trying to get a group of punters together for a betting coup. I don't believe in that bull shit so I didn't entertain his call. What was strange is that he never answered my question as to where he got my details from!!!

I've had that same call but common sense told me if you have the power and influence to rig races you would not be calling random people. Just a scam
