Deen, if you, like me, fancy the first double strongly, why not consider taking the treble into the 3rd race with all of the joint 3 favourites, Annigoni, Danza and Nebula, all 7/2. If you take the treble with one of the above, the odds will be (say) 28/1. If you (triple) Dutch all three, the odds equate to 24/1.

Only do so if you believe one of the above will win race 3. If none of them arrive, well hope the double has arrived.

Don't want to put a damper on your treble, but your getting 9/1 for your money - not 24/1

Dutching means to back more than one horse in a race to make a profit, you need to choose the correct stake at the correct price to make a profit.. Some "experts" like this way to make money long run

True to make a profit regardless of the outcome, but, more true, to make the SAME profit regardless of the outcome. Double ditching, I assume, means betting against two results in the same event. The term was coined after a mafia guy, Dutch Schultz. You can check him out on wiki.

How do you arrive at 9/1 when the first leg is 28/10 and any one of the last is (still) 7/2, which is 17/1, that is not taking the 6/10 into the equation? Do a dry run and see what odds you end up with.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

You have 3 bets of 28/1
Only 1 can win
You win 1 bet of 28/1
You have spent 3 units
For your money, you are getting 9/1
If you were getting 24/1 for your money you would win 72 and not 28 minus the 2 that you lose.

If running anywhere close to her last effort which was in the Allan Robertson, Announcing Rain should go very, very close here.

Rivarine has taken on the best of his generation to date, and should be too strong for this field.

Cherry on the top, Azzie's only two runners on the night, plenty time to still make it for an early celebratory supper - easy game this .

Bayern

Agree 100%. It's all the talk in Jhb. Double done.

Add Cuff to the double. 20/1 is good odds and much safer I think

Bayern ,agree entirely with Rivarine (on the run/rating to Cloth of cloud I was surprised why they were prepared to go so hard for Oomph)and thought it would run closer at Pmb.
At first glance I was also with Announcing Rain ,but I concluded that Plume Del Toro is a danger, if you take a line through Blaze of Mystery??!!.........and surprised at the betting in that race.

I was very impressed with shes a giver first run as it was very wet that day and she was in the worst of the going up the middle of the track and only got going when the race was over won by a decent maiden hard up on the outside where the best going was...I see shes nominated for a group 2 on july day so must be rated by a yard I rate very highly

I like Caddy Master in the second. Such a beautiful looking colt and I liked the way he quickened to win on debut. He may need further but worth a go at the prices.
