Have had a bit E/W on Whipper Snapper in the last at Compiegne. Will love the ground and wide draw no problem as they've been coming stands side in the home straight.

See that First Class Ticket is now a non-runner - adding to what has been a slightly frustrating day so far.

Hasn't been a great day, but am going to have one more bet. R3 Nottingham Cersei. Won her maiden very easily over this trip on soft ground at Redcar six weeks ago. The runner up there has run well twice since (including this afternoon) and the form looks solid. Hasn't been put up for that win and is potentially thrown in tonight under ideal conditions. 11/8 is a very fair price in this small field where she has only one serious rival (Evangelical).

R3 Brighton Masterson. This is a dire race, but the selection has been running consistently of late and seemed very well suited by the drop back to ten furlongs last time. Won off 63 last September and is off only 60 tonight (with his very promising apprentice taking off 7lbs as well). Will be very hard to beat if running up to his best against such weak opposition and really should win this with a bit to spare. 2/1 or above is an excellent price.
R4 Roscommon Exit Seven E/W. Still a maiden, but has been knocking hard on the door in his recent runs. Should appreciate the drop back in trip and won't mind the soft ground (some of his main rivals might not be suited by it). 15/2 is a good E/W price.

I've been to gallops.Worked unbelievably after having a long term problem.
Will be so very well handicapped, worked with a horse rated 20+ pounds superior and left it for dead.

R1 Ripon Zamjar. The Johnston newcomer White Tower has been well supported, but will need to be pretty smart to beat the selection first time up. Zamjar's last run at Wolverhampton is strong form for a race like this and he probably should be favourite over White Tower (he may well be come post time). Also has a much better draw than White Tower and should be able to get to the stands side rail. 7/4 or above is a good price.
