G. Larena to ride Master Sabina
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

I think AzzMan has quite a good idea of how good abishiri is as he probably used rabada as as a form line. Not saying hes going to win but Azzie must think he's got a chance

Makes sense to use a world class jock if he is available, especially since the stable may have more than one runner.

So a jock wins the triple crown on a horse.....he hails from KZN so he knows Greyville very well and he gets jocked off for a guy who rides in SA once a year and that is that?

I mean, I'm a big Doughie Whyte fan but I cannot stand Azzie.......

Why would you not let Zechner ride the horse? What has he done wrong?

Anyway, I'm sure they have their reasons and I'm sure they make sense to them but I feel like it is very unfair towards the young lad.

Got to agree with you Chris. Would love to know the actual reason. Karl has done nothing wrong imo and in the bank accounts of everyone involved with abishiri.

Deja vu: flashback to the 2005 July when Schlechter was jocked off the tragically fated Rabiya for Hong Kong domiciled Fradd.
Not the first time Gerrit was "Jocked Off" in 2001 he lost the ride on Trademark after being beaten by stable mate Bunter Barlow in the Met and was switched to BB who finished down field to Striker and Trademark... 5 years later he eventually got it right with Eyeofthetiger

i do not know reasons and yeah sure world class jock etc etc. What i do know is that if you have a winning combo do not touch that.
