Think I'll Join you on this King Tut - Make it a rule never to touch anything less than 28/10 , but since today was rather profitable, I can afford the little splurge.

Racing is a fickle sport - sometimes with you and sometimes not - Today two winners just getting home on the nod, a stride further and it was a different ball game in both cases.

I must say the presenters comments about the stable companion to First Apostle , just before the off, did help to kickstart the starting price on First Apostle from 1.8 to R2.50 --- sometimes one wonders about these things -- even though not complaining.

I agree with Ptahotep - using races as training exercises makes a mockery of racing, and should be ruled against - as not giving the horse every chance to win.

Its already "ruled" against -the NHA just don't enforce their rules!

It was just awesome watching that big baby run, looking all over, running all over, and listening to each and every sound, like your two year old toddler beating you in a race on his wobbly legs.
