Al Hamd has improved in each of his 4 starts to date and now pitched into a handicap so will go well and hopefully win

the horse was playing up in the stalls so the stall handler jumps up onto the side of the stall and is helping the horse settle, and the starter decides to let them go. The horse loses many lengths at the start due to the incompetence of the starter. Sometimes you just cant make it up.

R2 Kempton Jack Nevison. Ran a cracker on his debut when third at Newbury (winner currently rated 108) before finding five furlongs too sharp when an odds on third at Sandown. Subsequently disappointed on very soft ground at Nottingham, but can be forgiven that. His debut run would make him a near certainty in this and, assuming he is ready to do himself justice after six months off, he will be very tough to beat from pole position in this weakish maiden. 11/8 (currently available with Sportingbet) or better is a very good price (on form he should be 4/5 at most).
