I reckon She's A Fortress has her beat on exposed form .... On the Kingsview form she beat this one by 2.75 receiving weight in 58.29s in good going. She has been rested 3 months and now carries 58.5 drawn 7.

She's A Fortress beat Kingsview by 2 lengths giving weight in a time of 57.11 in SOFT going. Has the benefit of recent runs and the 2 draw. SAF receives 4.5 kg's from Free State .... at 8/1 and 13/10 a fixed place.... that is where my money goes.

I will take a small cover pot banking Free State.

Theres was a light but steady drizzle over the scottsville region through out the night, however around 8am this morning there was a 5mins pourdown but since then there hasnt been any rain. Still very cloudy. Racing should go on without much problem.

I was not in Pmb yesterday. I only came back at 2.00 am this morning and it was raining.
Got up early this morning to find it still raining.
It has however stopped raining for the last hour. There is no sign of sunshine... so expect the going to be on the soft side.

Not a inspiring card though. I am staying out.

thanks for updates..very disappointing card for a weekend meeting and those that have a go at cape racing should have a look at natal racing at present with only 7 race programs for the last2 nite meetings and todays card with a shocking turnout..for the south African champions season and supposedly africas racing capital simply not good enough

Louis Goosen just messaged to say he arrived overnight and the horses (his and spies)travelled well, says there was a fine misty drizzle but fine now
