I have Al Wahed in the 5th. He has had his knacks removed and is doing well. He might need this run so a small E/W, quartets, exotics is the play.

Quite a tricky card today.
Race 1: Caballo Blanco is the obvious horse, but skinny price with so many unknown first timers.
Race 2: Live Life is too short in the betting but put up a good debut and will contest the finish. China Pearl and Alpha Girl were just behind her in that race, and the former has plenty scope for improvement. Gypsy Beauty ran well behind Wake up Maggie on debut, and that form is strong. Rebels Burst has had two good runs. Bernadini is a top sire, so watch first timer Sydney Opera.
Selection: Gypsey Beauty/ Live Life/ China Pearl/ Ashwal
Race 3: 2yos in open company are not well weighted, but if above average can win despite being 5kg out at the weights. Dark Chocolate and Garden Tea Party should fight it out. All those that ran behind Pixelate last time can improve to run into the money.

R1 Caballo Blanco x Starfleet (Gray Frost improver)
R2 China Pearl (will nibble Navarone e/w)
R3 Dark Chocolate (small e/w Indigo Storm, Second Nature improver if breaking better)
R4 Captain's Flame (Night In Tahiti)
R5 Percival (Kirumbu)
R6 Search Party
R7 Saint Roch (Eurklidon)
R8 Sugar Frosted (Roman Perfection)
Nel patent and a few other patent/yankees based around the above,
Thanks, as always, to the Bass, Ramsden and Crawford stables for their helpful comments. Annoyingly, as always, I can't find where the Snaith stable post their comments.
All the best Peter D
Be(s)t of luck to all

lmao... really TBP? I wonder why such a wonderful, successful stable, with a finger in just about every pie, wouldn't do so. Must be a bit too busy poor things. Or under instruction not to do so perhaps? Or maybe they just get tired of @rseholes like me mentioning it so they get blardy-minded and refuse to do it cos of one "idiot". Who knows the reason, the fact remains that your statement would seem to be factually correct and that helpfulness/transparency and the Snaith stable(s) do not walk hand in hand. Still, we must live in hope that one day they (and others) will see the light...

Race 5: very open handicap and nothing would surprise. I fancy Al Wahed to run an improved race with the sting out the ground.
Race 6: This is more open than the betting suggests- I don't think that coming back in trip to 1400m will really suit Prince Of Wales. Peace Pact is steadily improving after his long break and looks ready to win again. Silver Snaffles won well last time and has a good draw but is up in class here. Cavallino is consistent but has a wide draw to overcome, as does the useful Search Party.
Selection: Silver Snaffles/ Search Party/ Peace Pact/ Prince of Wales/
Race 7: Saint Roch and Bezamod look the right two, but all of Arctic Teon, Mr Piscato, Serious Rebel or Braaistin could pop up. Euroklidon improved at his second start and could improve further to earn a cheque.
Race 8: If Sugar Frosted does not win, then anything can happen here.
