Barnes rode a winner in America lastnight , can't have been many South Africans to have done that ?

Piere worked two horses on Thursday. The first was an easy ride and he felt fine after. The second horse, however, pulled and Piere felt severe pain. The problem lies with the ligaments.
Methinks still a few weeks or a month before he rides again....

How do these sidelined jocks get by if injured for a long time.........medical boarding or temporary disability or some kind of insurance that covers them for disability?
Jocks do get some kind of payment when medically retired i think
