Abashiri worth all the hype - and what is more a great achievement by Lammerskraal Stud on producing a locally bred champion

Just to touch on an age-old prickly pear - listening to the post-race interviews, while all turned out great, should the public not have been informed about the injury 3 weeks ago ?

They had him ready, I think if the public had been told about the injury he'd have gone off about 5/1, no one would've bankered him and we'd have all lost our minds at how he won so easily and called for Azzie's head for scare mongering, fine lines :lol:
