Black Hercules in the JLT on Thursday , first race. This horse has been backed in from as big as 50/1 for this race and is my banker.

Ivanovich Gorbatov in the Triumph , first race Friday, is trained by young Joseph O Brien, under his father's name and is apparently thought VERY highly of by his owner JP McManus. My next best.

I'd rather have a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy !!!!!!!

Huge meeting and not a sound out of the jumps fanatics on the forum. Poor show boys.

Can Ruby Welsh win on all 4 of his mounts tomorrow? Yes he can.

Well Chicken not as much press here and I was on the Cork thread and now have 14/10 on Douvan as my first bet and should pop my first cork, it's hard to see Ruby not stealing the show as far as leading jock and impossible for Mullins not to be the leading trainer but let the games begin

Harris Tweed-attired Morestead marks Cheltenham 2016. The world's first three-piece Harris Tweed suit for a horse has been unveiled.

Morestead's garment required 10 times more material than a human suit

Apparently the whole of SA have wall to wall coverage except the lightweights in Durban, something to do with always complaining I hear

Chicken we are obviously watching different racing channels, crossing to Cheltenham 1 minute before the Gold Cup , is not my idea of " wall to wall " coverage but for each there own I guess
