I think its cancelled, I can see the pools dropping sharply.

I know that weather isn't anybodies fault but racing abandonments are aggravating and just become another reason,to add to many others,as to why racing battles to entice punters over other forms of gambling!

Punters are lucky that no exotics ran 2 legs,or the "full take-out robbery would have kicked in!

Date: 25 FEBRUARY 2016




The race meeting at Turffontein dated 25 February 2016 was abandoned due to
inclement weather. Every measure was taken to keep the meeting alive and a
track inspection was held but after two hours of persistent rain and
continuous lightning the decision to cancel was made. All bets will be
refunded from races 3 onwards.
