Just when I thought Negroamaro will relax in the betting she firms to 8/10 which is the best current price from Lance Michael.

Lance Michael is also doing the betting without Negroamaro. So, should she lose, you also lose if you have backed anything else??????

I have said it before and I'll say it again (maybe it will even happen ), I think the race is perfectly set up for Champagne Haze, with New Predator the danger .....but NP is drawn a bit wide, so may have no option than to go and set the pace, which is probably not ideal....so Champagne Haze for me .......that run of Brazuca in the Cape bothers me, JP was at him from the start and he really only got going when the race was all over .....and that was over further.....as for Abashiri, I think he is also better over more ground ....and against this class I can't have him over 1600... the Classic and especially the Derby is a different story.....

As for the fillies, I still can't believe I got 22/10 on Negroamara, and I think it is a case of what will run 2nd ....and there's quite a few looking for that spot

Just had a look at the weather forecast, and it says thunderstorms all day today and rain predicted tomorrow... Canyone in JHB confirm if its raining today and how much? Really hoping the meeting doesn't get affected...

are the punters who are taking the odds on negroamaro not concerned that the very wet track might play a big part in the outcome of the race?dont think I would be in a rush to be punting anything tomorrow considering the state of the going

The lightning is the biggest issue. We'll run even if it rains today and tomorrow providing its like English rain.

Valid point - and sticky / heavy going will counter my arguments about Abashiri and Brazuca, who have run well in the wet .....basically we need to wait as close as possible to race time to make final decisions .....and if it turns out soft it will be a minefield, as not many have had the opportunity to run in the soft.....I'm still hoping the weather people are wrong (wouldn't be the first time) and there is no more rain....but looking outside chances are going will end up soft at best

I really think the horse that can upset in the fillies race is HEAPS OF FUN. She was out on a training run from that draw last time. That stable preps for big races and on a line through Juxtapose she has a massive chance from that draw. She made up serious ground to Negromaro when only getting into the race late. I think she will not miss the money- Sw and quartet float with She's A Dragon.

Whether the weather? Will wait for the 1st 3 races before playing.1st 2 races will give no pointers.

If the pace is on tomorrow and the track stays dry watch out for the Alexander horse Crystal Glamour , looking forward to the races going to be interesting
