That is the difference between a top jock (Strydom) and a mediocre one (Orffer), it's all about judging the pace of a race. Horses are not machines, if you run them too hard in the beginning, they will not finish. This was a perfect example of a master jock realizing the pace was too hot and dropping his filly out whereas Orffer was way too handy on a filly that is one paced.

I think the stable could end up with a minimum of 6 winners today.
