Yeah, I thought the same, this looks a serious race horse. It's such a tough race though, some superb horses on display, SM the one to beat but too short in this field so i'm in camp Noor

Super racing today.
We have Ernie in Race 5- Very open race. He is a couple of kilo's under sufferance, but is on the upgrade and has an eachway shout. Captain Alfredo is the one to beat.
Princess Royal in Race 6- 1000m may be a bit sharp, but she gets 2kg (Why have the operators stuffed around with our WFA races?!!) from Entisaar, so on their Allan Robertson form may turn the tables on her in the 3yo battle. However, Gr1 older fillies Carry on Alice and Fly by Night may be too strong, and Little Genie has great Jhb form. Lanner falcon and Jo's Bond next best.
We try Dance in the Woods over a bit more ground in race 8, and if she stays could upset at the weights. She has been disappointing since her maiden win, and can't be relied on. Another open race- I like Speedball which ran a cracker against Bela-Bela last time.
Race 1- Castlewood ran a shocker last time after a very good debut in a strong field- back at Kenilworth could be a runner.
Race 2- Fantastic Trip is going the right way and should improve further to beat Honest Ally and Elusive Thought.
Race 3- Three possible Derby runners clash here- Eastern Charm, Mooghamir and Nebula. There are some useful older horses so an upset is possible, but I like those three in that order.
Race 4. Northern Corner to bounce back and beat Captain Bag
Fillies Guineas. Silver Mountain will justify her price and get a deserved gr1 here before going on to get big bucks in the $1m next month. Anglet to follow her home ahead of the talking horses Noor and Bela -Bela.
Race 9 is a difficult contest to end the day, although the Snaith yard believe that Prince of Wales can't be beat. I will add at least Argun (very impressive debut), Prince Lateral and Free Agent for the pick 6.

I'm with you WP have not included SM in my atc bets. Having a go at Nebula x Northern Corner x Captain Alfredo x Noor. If Silver Mountain wins well today I will have a full go in the Met if she runs.

Alarm Bells ran 7th behind Purple Mountains in his second start, which race has produced 8 subsequent winners. ABs subsequent form below that but has second run after gelding and could improve to place.
