Muwaary has to be the pointer on today's card... Drawn pole, weighted to win, lto really impressed me... Banker in everything imo...

Missing link the rain comes from the north west, in other words from the direction of Robben Island. When the wind blows from Muizenburg toward the Southern Suburbs there will be no rain.

Seventh plain a pointer if you rate Muwaary. looking past Muwaary it nearly becomes you having to take the whole field so a bit of a headache :pinch:

Seventh Plain's draw is my main concern, tbvh, although including it in P6, I am out to beat it. Totally agree with you if you look past Muwaary, it becomes a nightmare. Just the way it won last start really impressed. Everything points to it imo.

TML, I think Seventh Plain is beatable today, and here's why. Firstly the draw, this has been the undoing of many a good horse. The other jockeys are not going to give Marcus the "after you sir" treatment, not when there is R1.2M first prize up for grabs. Admittedly has run well coming off a rest (the horse that is  ), but it must be said, beating nothing of note (no disrespect intended). I'm not convinced that this race is this horse's main aim for the summer season, can still earn decent money for running in the first four, and for that reason I will play to beat him. If Seventh Plain does win today, he may be more special than Variety Club.

I will exercise patience and hope to get a lot bigger than 20/1 on Anglet - greedy?, not really, ambitious? probably - big race Danielson double with French Navy next week could see me sailing off into the sunset, can't get hurt at 95/1.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

If Eighth Wonder had been attached to a more favourable yard he would be shorter in the betting !

Arezzo seemingly lost and stood on same shoe last time and returned sore, big runner

Yep can't fault your logic there. I personally will go wide today in both and hope to pick up a big dividend. If they both come home I'll just have to take a percentage loss but none strike me as a banker personally.
